- Energy Modeling results in a representation of a building’s energy consumption by using software to simulate and predict energy usage under different scenarios. This process involves a thorough analysis of several key building components, to verify compliance with the locally adopted, or above code program.
- Our energy modeling team is adept at working with home builders to make cost saving solutions while meeting compliance with any energy code program.
Energy Code Inspections and Testing
All new multifamily dwellings in Texas must be built and tested to a minimum of 2015 IECC codes and standards.
Energy Code Inspections and Testing
- As the energy code progresses, standards become more stringent. We work closely with builders to ensure their homes meet the requirements of the IECC codes adopted by their local Municipality.
- Our inspectors are certified through the IECC to inspect and test homes to meet the energy code standards.
- Energy code inspections are done at least twice during the building process, once at pre-drywall stage and again at final.
